CHARACTER INTRODUCTION: Janet

With her sprites completed, busts and world's tilesets well underway, I think it's an appropriate time to show off the holder of the purple dream: Janet!

Janet protects the Purple Dream's heart, and she protects it well! With the grit and temper only an older sister can muster, she pushes Onion into a picnic in their backyard: and expects them to put in all the legwork. Blanket, food, radio for music, she expects nothing but the best for their day out. It's all a bit troublesome for Dita, who can barely follow what she's on about. Though more often sour than sweet, she promises to keep Onion out of trouble—and especially far away from trickster dogs looking to scuffle! All she wants is for them to have one nice day.

This is my first real major project, and particularly the first story I've ever publicly shared that I care this deeply about. So I'd really like to thank anyone following development so far. I know it's only been a few weeks since I even published the demo to begin with, but this game has been in development since the summer. I really hope you guys enjoy the full game when I finish it, as I have a lot of cool stuff planned. (-: Once Janet's world is finished (both with visuals and with complete gameplay), I'll be gearing up to show off the next dream's heart-holder (probably the pink dream, since the blue dream is kind of a doozy I'd rather work up towards). Not sure how long that will take me between school and tackling the technical elements of Janet's world, but we'll see how it goes! Bye bye.
